up until closer to the end where she suddenly loves him with her whole being, and I was left thinking, "Why? You finally got rid of this nincompoop!" Also confusing: why we're supposed to like Proper. (So, ah, I jut bought the first one for my Kindle.) Because without that first book, the so-called romance between the main character and her husband looks a lot more like she's just resigned to his domestic abuse. Perhaps you have to read the first book in order to really love the second. I didn’t fully understand until closer to the end. She seems to love him but is also scared of him. This entire book is based on that mischief! The entire book!! When I’m not loving and laughing at her antics, I want to strangle her because of them! The only thing I didn’t quite feel was fully expressed was the relationship with her hubby. Prim is crazy! She gets herself into some mischief like you would not believe. I truly like the main characters, Prim & Proper. That being said I thoroughly enjoyed this! Yes, I feel like book one would have given me more insight to the varying relationships (there are a lot of people in this!) but for the most part I was able to go with the flow and was able to enjoy this. There were underlying things that I felt like I was missing.
